2021 Metroplex Summer School of Truth

The 2021 Metroplex Summer School of Truth (SSOT) will be held from July 28 to Aug 3, 2021. It will be held in-person in each locality and also concurrently on Zoom.

On Wednesday, July 28th, we will start in the evening with a gathering in each locality. The next six days, Thursday through Tuesday will be held in-person in your locality, though we connect with the other localities over Zoom.  There is also the option to participate in the SSOT entirely on Zoom.

Young people entering the 7th grade to the 12th grade may attend. Older saints (including those who have just graduated high school) are encouraged to attend as serving ones.

We will cover Lesson Book, Level 3: Two Spirits—Two Spirits – the Divine Spirit and the Human Spirit.

The cost is $75, payable to your locality. Late registration cost will be $85. This will cover the expenses of the SSOT. There may be additional expenses in your locality. Your serving ones will let you know if this is the case.

Both young people and serving ones should use this form to apply to attend. Once the form is completed it will be submitted to the leading ones in your locality for a recommendation.

Your registration will be complete once the recommendation and your payment have been received.

There was an important information session on Saturday morning 06/19 to have some fellowship and to encourage all parents, serving ones, college students and burdened saints to attend. Rules & Regulations

  1. Attendance at all meetings is mandatory.
  2. The SSOT Schedule must be followed by everyone according to the arrangement established.
  3. During meetings and overflow times, everyone is encouraged to participate.
  4. All clothing worn during the entire SSOT must be proper and modest. No clothing, caps, or shirts with improper pictures, logos, or symbols may be worn.
  5. All saints should maintain a proper relationship with each other young person and serving one in all situations (in language, attitude, intention, and heart).
  6. Cooperation and proper attitude toward all the serving ones is mandatory at all times.

Code of Conduct for Zoom Meetings and Webinars

  1. Turn on your camera.
  2. Mute your microphone when you are not speaking. If your microphone is not muted please be mindful of background noise and avoid any activities that could create additional noise.
  3. Be sure your camera is in a stable position and focused at eye level, if possible. Doing so helps create a more direct sense of engagement with other participants.
  4. Be aware of what is in view of your camera, including things on the wall and other people in the house.
  5. Please do not use any virtual backgrounds that may stumble the saints.
  6. Do not take photos, screen captures, or videos of any young person or serving one, and do not post them online or send them to anyone.
