Metroplex Summer School of Truth 2020

Details

We will cover Lesson Book, Level 2: The Triune God—The Triune God and the Person and Work of Christ.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s SSOT is to be conducted entirely over Zoom. Face-to-face contact is not necessary or expected and is discouraged by the SSOT.

The SSOT will include the following:

  • On-demand video lessons each morning
  • A group time each afternoon (12:45pm to 2:00pm)
  • Special fellowship sessions some afternoons (4pm to 4:45pm, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday)
  • Various electives are available each afternoon
  • A meeting each evening from 7pm to 9:30pm

Rules & Regulations

  1. Attendance at all meetings is mandatory.
  2. The SSOT Schedule must be followed by everyone according to the arrangement established.
  3. During meetings and overflow times, everyone is encouraged to participate.
  4. All clothing worn during the entire SSOT must be proper and modest. No clothing, caps, or shirts with improper pictures, logos, or symbols may be worn.
  5. All saints should maintain a proper relationship with each other young person and serving one in all situations (in language, attitude, intention, and heart).
  6. Cooperation and proper attitude toward all the serving ones is mandatory at all times.

Code of Conduct for Zoom Meetings and Webinars

  1. Turn on your camera.
  2. Mute your microphone when you are not speaking. If your microphone is not muted please be mindful of background noise and avoid any activities that could create additional noise.
  3. Be sure your camera is in a stable position and focused at eye level, if possible. Doing so helps create a more direct sense of engagement with other participants.
  4. Be aware of what is in view of your camera, including things on the wall and other people in the house.
  5. Please do not use any virtual backgrounds that may stumble the saints.
  6. Do not take photos, screen captures, or videos of any young person or serving one, and do not post them online or send them to anyone.
